PARTNERSHIPS


Market Street Sports Group serves as your entity’s official corporate partnership representative. Securing corporate partners, approved by the entity, to generate additional revenue through naming rights, sponsorships and advertising.

As the official marketing representative, Market Street Sports Group does all the work at no upfront cost or risk to our clients. Using our vast experience, we create an inventory of the client’s facilities identifying areas that may be sponsored and assign investment points. We develop proposals outlining the marketing elements to be executed and use these in sales efforts. MSSG actively engages in all parts of the partnership, including sales, contract negotiations, signage development, installation and maintenance. We also participate in the fulfillment of all agreements helping both sponsors and clients complete their respective duties.

After all production and marketing expenses are paid, the district receives 70% of all monies collected, while Market Street Sports Group receives 30% of the sponsorship revenue.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Street Sports Group:

Develop inventory and investment points

Develop marketing and sales materials

Solicitation of corporate partnerships

Develop sponsorship proposals

Have contract reviewed by district

Gain district approval for each sponsor

Contract with corporate partners

Manage all sponsorship execution

Provide district with regular status reports

Meet with a district committee (at least quarterly)

Coordinate sponsor invoicing and payments

Coordinate district payments

School District/Facility:

Develop policy allowing corporate partnerships and advertising on campus or facility

Assign a point person for proposal approvals and meetings

Approve sponsorship contracts

Grant MSSG access to their property and inventory

CONSULTATION


In 2014, MSSG created a consultation program for school districts outside of MSSG's local footprint looking for alternative steams of revenue. This service has helped several districts benefit, most recently Chambersburg Area School District who contracted over $204,000 in year one utilizing their own in-house Corporate Partnership Program.

Our service gives school districts the right tools and expertise to start their own successful corporate partnership program while answering the basic questions such as:

What investment points should be used when valuing our facilities?

What specifications, placement and materials should be used for signage?

What are sponsors looking for in return for their financial support?

What are some of the pitfalls and unintended consequences to avoid?

How do we work with our existing booster clubs?

How do we manage school board and client expectations?

Our service will provide board policies, legal agreements, sample proposals, financial documents, an inventory study of your campus, professionally created mock-ups, and face to face Q&A's with your admin team.
